Key Responsibilities:
*Design and implement a marketing, brand and communications strategy that clearly articulates the vision and impact of the organisation.
*Actively engaging on the internal platform, Workplace, and supporting volunteers with guidance and advice.
*Development and day-to-day management of all external on and offline communications including email newsletters, blogs and website.
*Leading on major design and print projects, including annual impact report, volunteer toolkit, retailer packs and outreach materials.
*Working with the programmes team to deliver local marketing campaigns that increase guest and volunteer numbers, working across all touch- prints including print materials, local press and social media.
*Working with external; PR, Design, Print, Digital and Media agencies.
*Planning and delivering a proactive press plan to achieve national, local and trade press coverage.
*Developing and nurturing relationships with print, digital and broadcast journalists.
*Building, implementing and managing the Charities brand and ensuring all those involved adhere to the brand.
*Delivering communications training at conferences to the committed volunteer base, providing on-going support and utilising the skills of there volunteer base, and interns where appropriate – to help spread the charities message.

Personal Specification:
*2-3 Years Experience in Marketing & Communications.
*Experience working with National & Local Press.
*Familiarity with and confidence across multichannel marketing strategies.
*Understanding of social media and successful strategies to engage supporters.
