Richard Okorogheye: Police are “increasingly concerned” as they appeal for more information to help find missing teenager

  • Richard Okorogheye, a nineteen-year-old student, went missing on Monday 22nd March 2021. He had told his mother that he was going to visit a friend but never returned. He left his wallet at home and his phone has been switched off. None of his family or friends have seen him since. He was reported missing on 24th March 2021. The police have appealed to the public for any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Okorogheye.
  • Before his disappearance, Richard Okorogheye was studying Business Studies and IT degree at Oxford Brookes University. He has a sickle cell condition, which has meant that he has been shielding at home since the Covid-19 pandemic His mother shares that her son had been struggling with his mental health during the lockdown.
  • His family has appealed for information on his whereabouts on social media platforms. The following celebrities, Dua Lipa Bonnie Greer and Misan Harriman, have demonstrated their support by appealing for information to the public on Richard’s whereabouts on their social media platforms.
  • Richard Okorogheye was last seen at Ladbroke Grove at 20:30PM on 22nd March 2021. He was wearing a black top, tracksuits and trainers. He was carrying an Adidas bag.  He is described as having a slim build and being 6 feet in platforms. He is reported to have often be seen visiting Westminster, Fulham and Hammersmith.
