Home based/flexible location or office based (Stratford, East London).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Blogging Communications Assistant to join our small team. Ideally someone who shares our values of promoting and encouraging positive activities within the African community. You will also have some experience of using social media/blogging.

  • Identifying possible blog subjects for our publishing division and liaising with potential and existing bloggers to ensure sufficient material to promote
  • Market research within the African publishing sector (assessing what are other African publishers doing, what subjects are they tackling, their reviews and feedback)
  • Identifying ways and means of reaching out to new authors
  • Finding opportunities to publish our related advertorial copy and opinion pieces in publications 

Ideally we would be looking for someone who can dedicate 1-2 days per week (flexible hours to suit).
